"Claims that the new strategic partner in the privatisation of INA
will close down the Sisak refinery are unrealistic and unfounded,
because once it buys a share in the company, the new partner will
accept INA's business plan until the year 2007, according to which
the operation of the Sisak refinery is indisputable," said the head
of the company's management board, Tomislav Dragicevic.
Representatives of the local authorities and the Sisak Refinery
Workers' Union supported plans aimed to keep the Sisak refinery
operating.
