The envelopes were opened by Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic and
representatives of Deutche Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers -- the
government's advisors -- in the presence of Ina, OMV and MOL
representatives.
Jurcic said the advisors would take the following two weeks to
assess the offers. Based on their assessments, talks with potential
partners will be conducted in February, after which the strategic
partners will submit final binding offers, he said.
Reporters were not privy to any information about how much the
potential partners were offering for the shares.
Jurcic only briefly stated that he was satisfied with the offers.
Unofficial sources, however, have said that the offers range
between 250 and 450 million US dollars.
An agreement with the chosen strategic partner is expected to be
signed by the end of March.
