Once the list of crimes is completed, the party will file charges
with the competent prosecutor's offices, he said.
According to Djukic, the party has so far collected information on
war crimes in the former municipality of Donji Lapac. He claims that
66 people, of whom 60% were elderly people, were killed during and
after Operation "Storm" in Donji Lapac.
Djukic said the government's strategic programme for this year was
unreasonable because its main priority was the construction of the
Zagreb-Split highway instead of the economic revival of one third
of the country.
Djukic believes that priority should be given to reconstruction and
return in formerly war-affected areas from Vukovar to Knin and that
the highway will even more isolate the area of former Krajina from
the rest of the country.
The return of Serb refugees has come to a stalemate and they still
have not repossessed their property, Djukic said.
