PODGORICA, Jan 20 (Hina) - The World Bank appreciates very much the cooperation it has had with the Montenegrin government thus far, supports its reformist goals and is willing to financially assist the country's development, a
delegation of the bank said in Podgorica on Sunday after talks with state leaders.

World Bank chief director Shengman Zheng and Prime Minister Milo
Djukanovic discussed concrete issues and models of cooperation in
the future.
It was announced the bank's experts would visit Montenegro early
next month.
Djukanovic said his government would focus on stepping up economic
and reforms of the system, creating conditions facilitating
development and the modernisation of Montenegro's economic,
political, and defence systems, in keeping with European
standards.
