The conference pooled some 70 representatives of national accreditation bodies from the European Union, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), EU candidate-countries and other European countries with observer status. Croatia has been a member of the EA since 1997.
The conference is also attended by similar European organisations, such as the EUROMET association of national metrology institutes, the EUROLAB laboratory association, and the EFTA.
The event will focus on the adjustment of Croatia's technical legislation to EU standards.
