ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Marijan Mlinaric istaking part in the first conference of ministers in charge of Europeanintegration issues which is being held in the Dutch town ofGroeningen, the Interior Ministry
said in a statement on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Marijan Mlinaric is
taking part in the first conference of ministers in charge of European
integration issues which is being held in the Dutch town of Groeningen, the
Interior Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.The conference, which ends on Thursday, 11 November, pooled ministers
from the 25 EU countries and candidate countries.
The event was organised by the Netherlands which is currently chairing
the European Union.
The conference is aimed at strengthening political support to ethnic
minorities, which is important for the unity of European societies, and at
exchanging experience, particularly when it comes to the integration of young
immigrants.
The Croatian delegation will hold a number of bilateral talks.
