The event is held under the auspices of the German government.
The conference, which will be attended by prime ministers from countries in the region who will present the economic possibilities of their countries, will be addressed by German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.
Schroeder is scheduled to hold talks with the prime ministers and deputy prime ministers attending the conference, after which a news conference is scheduled to take place.
Apart from presenting Croatia's economic possibilities, Sanader will hold a number of bilateral meetings, including those with Schroeder and Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic.
The conference is attended by prime ministers Fatos Nano of Albania, Vojislav Kostunica of Serbia, Milo Djukanovic of Montenegro, the Chairman of Bosnia's Council of Ministers, Adnan Terzic, and the presidents of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, Robert Kocharian and Askar Akayev respectively.
