The three men were arrested on Thursday morning. Given that no evidence indicating that they had thrown the bomb was found by Friday morning, the police, in agreement with the Vukovar County Court investigating judge, decided to keep them in custody for another 24 hours, which means they have to be either released or brought before the investigating judge by 0900 hours on Saturday.
Janic voiced confidence the investigation would be completed in the course of the night. He declined to comment on rumours that one of the suspects failed a polygraph test.
HSP leader Anto Djapic today once again condemned the bomb throwing. County Prefect Nikola Safer condemned the incident as well.
