ZAGREB, Oct 21 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament President Vladimir Seks
on Thursday most harshly condemned yesterday's incident in which two Croatian
Party of Rights (HSP) deputies were lightly injured and two vehicles damaged
after the explosion of a device thrown by an unidentified perpetrator outside
an apartment block in Vukovar's Borovo Naselje district."It is intolerable that such incidents are happening today when the
entire society is making efforts to prevent all forms of extremism, radicalism
and intolerance and when a favourable climate aimed at achieving a high level
of tolerance and understanding is being created," Seks said in a statement.
The parliament leader said he expected authorised institutions to take
appropriate measures so as to bring the perpetrators to justice. He added that
certain mechanisms should be activated to prevent similar incidents in the
future, the statement said.
