declaration by the end of next year.
PLITVICE, Dec 2 (Hina) - Speaking at a conference focusing on
equal development of all parts of Croatia, Development Minister Bozidar Kalmeta
said on Friday that Croatia would carry out its obligations stemming from the
Sarajevo declaration by the end of next year. The remaining 4,000
damaged houses will be reconstructed by the end of 2006, Kalmeta said at the
conference which pooled about 70 mayors of towns and municipal heads from areas
of special state concern.
Regarding 19,600 houses and flats which used to occupied by tenants who
were not their owners, 57 should still be given back to the owners, the
minister said addressing the conference at Plitvice Lakes.
