"Croatia's every success on its European road makes Serbia happy because this is important for the entire region and for the European aspirations of all countries in the region," Mesic's office quoted Kostunica as saying in a press release.
The two officials exchanged views on bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with their normalisation which, according to the press release, "has already reached such a level that it is not particularly necessary to underline every positive step forward".
Kostunica was on a day-long visit to Zagreb, the first Serbian PM to do so since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
