Earlier on Thursday, Barbaso arrived for a two-day visit to Croatia.
On the first day of the visit, Barbaso met representatives of international financial institutions and investors in Croatia, officials from the European Commission Delegation and chiefs of diplomatic missions of EU member states to inform them about the European Commission's progress report on Croatia, which was released in Brussels on Wednesday.
On Friday morning, Barbaso is scheduled to meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, and members of the Committee on European Integration and the National Committee in charge of monitoring accession talks with the European Union. After that he will meet Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
