The Ministry of the Interior and other competent services are investigating all details related to the incident and the public will be informed about the investigation results, Sanader told reporters.
The PM said it was difficult to speak about the motives for the attack at the moment, but he could not help feeling that the act was directed against the policy of Croatia's integration with the European Union.
Nevertheless, he said he hoped that the incident would not jeopardise Croatia's path to the EU or the possible start of membership talks.
