ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and SaborSpeaker Vladimir Seks on Wednesday received Peter Ramsauer, a deputyof the Christian Social Union (CSU) in the German parliament.
ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Sabor Speaker Vladimir Seks on Wednesday received Peter Ramsauer, a deputy of the Christian Social Union (CSU) in the German parliament.

According to a press release issued by the Office of the President, Mesic and Ramsauer discussed regional cooperation and Croatia's efforts to join the European Union.

Ramsauer said he would like to see the start of Croatia's EU membership talks as soon as possible.

Mesic and the German official agreed that Croatian-German cooperation was good.

Ramsauer announced that a CSU delegation would visit Croatia this July.

Sabor Speaker Seks and the German official agreed that Seks would be the host of the CSU delegation, the Sabor reported.
