Attending the meeting were ministers and top Interior Ministry officials from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, and Turkey, the media in Tirana said.
The ministers called for, among other things, simplifying visa requirements in the region and the wider area.
Also today, the foreign ministers of Croatia, Albania and Macedonia, the signatories to the US-Adriatic Charter, met in the coastal Albanian town of Durres for an informal meeting.
