SDP Youth Forum admitted to ECOSY

ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Social Democratic Party Youth Forumtook part in the 7th congress of the European Community Organisationof Socialist Youth (ECOSY) in Lisbon from 17 to 20 March when it wasalso admitted to the full membership of this association, the SDPparty reported in Zagreb on Thursday.
ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Social Democratic Party Youth Forum took part in the 7th congress of the European Community Organisation of Socialist Youth (ECOSY) in Lisbon from 17 to 20 March when it was also admitted to the full membership of this association, the SDP party reported in Zagreb on Thursday.

The decision was made unanimously by 257 delegates from 25 countries by secret ballot.

The Lisbon congress adopted a resolution in which ECOSY expressed its strong support to activities aimed at the accession of Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia into the European Union as well as the individual integration of each candidate country.

Bulgarian and Romanian Social Democratic youth organisations were also admitted to ECOSY at the Lisbon congress.
