ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - The permanent inter-ministerial
commission in charge of monitoring the implementation of the Croatian-Italian
human rights agreement on Thursday concluded that the protection of the Italian
minority in Croatia was at an enviable level. According to a press
release issued by the Croatian Foreign Ministry, State Secretary Hido Biscevic
held the meeting on this topic with Furio Radin, the head of the parliamentary
human rights and ethnic minorities' rights committee, and representatives of
the Italian Union.
The ethnic Italian representatives used this occasion to present their
proposals for a more efficient implementation of relevant laws.
