ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - Croatia's associate member status in theWestern European Union (WEU) was confirmed on Wednesday at a sessionof this body's assembly, the Croatian parliament said in a pressrelease, adding that Croatia could
now participate in all workingbodies but could not vote.

Western European Union (WEU) was confirmed on Wednesday at a session of this
body's assembly, the Croatian parliament said in a press release, adding that
Croatia could now participate in all working bodies but could not vote.Attending the session was a delegation led by Deputy Parliament Speaker
Mato Arlovic.
The press release said the WEU supported Croatia's European ambitions by
granting it the same status as Bulgaria and Romania.
The assembly urged the establishment of a parliamentary delegation of
five members and their deputies to participate in the work of the WEU
assembly.
