Speaking at the formal opening of OSCE offices in the southern coastal city of Split, Semneby said that today Croatia had a vision of an open European country based on tolerance.
He said that the OSCE would continue monitoring the work of the judiciary and would focus on refugee issues.
Semneby said that Croatia was making progress in dealing with issues falling within the OSCE mission's mandate, adding that the OSCE would address those issues in partnership with local authorities to the benefit of the local population and Croatia on its path to membership of the European Union and NATO.
