Court spokesman Kresimir Devcic told Hina that Dr Vladimir Gasparovic, an internist, and Dr Vera Folnegovic Smalc, a psychiatrist, had submitted their opinions to the court showing that Glavas was fit to take part in proceedings.
"Based on their opinions, Investigating Judge Zdenko Posavec will already today send summons to witnesses for an investigative hearing due to take place on February 19 or 20," Devcic said.
There are some 20 defence witnesses left to be heard by the court.
Glavas is suspected of involvement in the torture and murder of Serb civilians in the garages of the Secretariat for National Defence in the eastern city of Osijek in 1991. He is also a suspect in the war crimes case dubbed the Sellotape case, which concerns the murder of Serb civilians by the Drava river in Osijek in 1991.
