ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - German parliamentarians, led by Karl-
Heinz Hornhues, left Zagreb this evening.
"This visit was very important, not only becuase they welcomed
us very kindly indeed, but also because they made it possible for
us to hold talks at the top level," Hornhues told an airport press
conference.
"All those I have met in Croatia made it clear they favoured
the peaceful reintegration of the ocupied areas," Hornhues said.
"But they all insisted that everything should be done to
implement the existing UN Resolution," Hornhues said.
"We fully understand that position."
"We will convey to our government all that we have learned
during our visit and will call for assistance to be extended to
Croatia. We are going to work hard to resolve all these problems
because the danger of an explosion is still present," Hornhues
said.
