ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
today received a delegation of the European Parliament for South-
Eastern Europe, led by Doris Pack, a Foreign Ministry statement
said.
Granic spoke about reasons which had prompted Croatia to end
the UN Protection Force mandate. He stressed that Croatia wanted
to continue and accelerate the peace process to reintegrate its
occupied areas as soon as possible.
The main task of a new international force must be the
effective control of Croatia's internationally recognized borders
and the supervision of the implementation of agreements that had
been reached, Granic said.
The talks also focused on Croatia's relations with
neighbouring countries and its firm support of the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
