ZAGREB, March 15 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister, Nikica Valentic,
today met the head of the World Bank department for central Europe,
Michel Noel and senior consultant with the same department, Olivier
Godron.
Stressing the Government's determination to implement the
restructuring and rehabilitation scheme, Valentic said success
depended on synchronising the restructuring of loss-making
companies and the rehabilitation of banks.
The whole package of measures, which includes bills on
privatisation and securities, was soon to be submitted to
Parliament, Valentic said.
"We are ready to assist the Croatian Government in
implementing the programme through measures for injecting life into
the money markets, loans to particular companies and bank
rehabilitation loans," Noel said.
