SARAJEVO, March 3 (Hina) - The humanitarian airlift to the Bosnian
capital resumed Friday morning, the UN in Sarajevo said.
UN aid flights were suspended yesterday after a UN airplane
had been fired at.
UN spokesman Garry Coward today said that the Ilyushin-76 had
been shot by five bullets from small arms.
A UN investigation showed that the bullets were fired from
Dobrinja, a suburb north of Sarajevo Airport, where both Serb and
Bosnian government troops were positioned.
But it could not be confirmed which side was responsible for
the attack, Coward said, adding that the UN forwarded a protest to
both sides.
