ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
last night received World Islamic League (WIL) Secretary General
Ahmet Muhamad-Ali and his associates, a Foreign Ministry
statement said.
They discussed the situation in the Serb-occupied
territories of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the latest
peace initiatives.
Granic emphasised Croatia's efforts to reintegrate its
occupied areas in a peaceful manner. He expressed support for the
Croat-Moslem federation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and its closer
links with Croatia.
Granic also expressed gratitude for substantial humanitarian
aid Croatia had received through the WIL, particularly from Saudi
Arabia.
Muhamad-Ali stressed the importance of hospitality Croatia
extended to refugees from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The two agreed on deepening cooperation in the humanitarian
area.
