Granic and Rehn discussed human rights in Croatia and

Granic informed Rehn about the laws adopted by the Croatian
Parliament - the General Amnesty Act, which is already being

the Normalisation of Relations Between Croatia and Yugoslavia.
The two officials also discussed steps the Croatian President

completion of the peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian
area and the UNTAES mandate.
Croatia was ready to cooperate with The Hague tribunal, and it
supported the strengthening of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina
and its linking with Croatia, as well as the establishment of
institutions of Bosnia-Herzegovina in line with the Dayton
agreement, Granic said.
Rehn described her cooperation with Croatian government
institutions as very good, stressing that progress had been made in
the protection of human rights in Croatia. She recalled Croatia's
role in the successful completion of the problem of Kupljensko
refugees, the accommodation of displaced persons and refugees, the
