NEW YORK, Sept 27 (Hina) - In numerous bilateral meetings Croatia
has received undivided support for its Council of Europe
membership bid, and its efforts in the peace process in Bosnia-
Herzegovina have been evaluated favourably, Foreign Minister Mate
Granic said on Friday.
"Everyone has directly supported (Croatia's admission to)
the Council of Europe," Granic said at the end of his visit to
New York where he had attended the 51st session of the UN General
Assembly.
Granic added that a decision on accession to the Council of
Europe should be passed in mid-October, while an agreement on
admission should be signed in the first week of November.
German Foreign Minister Klaus Kinkel had said that his
country would support a trade agreement between Croatia and the
European Union and Croatia's admission to the PHARE programme,
Granic said.
