Before the protest, the Transitional Municipal Council of
the Bosniac-Muslim municipality of Brcko-Rahic held a session
which was also attended by representatives of military and
police forces, Islamic community and political parties in the
area.
Participants in the session expressed dissatisfaction
with information on the offered working material of the
arbitration court and asked troops in the SFOR base McGovern
to withdraw into the base, as Muslim refugees were 'displaying
an anti-American mood', said Adnan Pasalic, secretary to the
Brcko-Rahic municipal head.
SFOR was asked not to prevent the return of Bosniac
refugees to Brcko, as 'respecting Annex 7, they are ready to
return to their town at any moment'.
Conclusions from today's session of the Transitional
Municipal Council Brcko-Rahic were sent to the command of the
SFOR base McGovern.
