forensic team from the Zagreb Medical Faculty Forensics Department, Davor Strinovic, said.

had concluded the identification of the first eleven victims, head of the
Croatian forensic team from the Zagreb Medical Faculty Forensics Department,

The family members identified the victims at the Forensics Department
on Monday. They will continue to visit the department during the next
several days and the identification of 60 Ovcara mass grave victims which
had gone through a preliminary identification conducted by experts of the
International Tribunal in The Hague could be confirmed in the next two
weeks, Strinovic said, adding that after that, the identification of the
remaining 140 victims from Ovcara would continue.
The identification was considered final when the victim's family
confirmed it, he said, adding that the families received constant
psychological and other help.
Experts of the International Tribunal in The Hague had exhumed 200
victims in the period from 1 September to 7 October 1996. The victims were
the wounded taken from the Vukovar hospital, killed and thrown into the mass
grave at Ovcara on 20 November 1991 after the Serb occupation of Vukovar.
