ZAGREB, 23 Jan (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday held a
session at which it adopted conclusions concerning the
implementation of the Law on the Rights of Croatian War Veterans
and Their Families.
After a discussion on a proposal from the Law on Protection of
Military and Civil Victims of the World War II, concerning their
income, Premier Matesa entrusted ministers and Vice Premier Ljerka
Mintas-Hodak with drawing-up a new proposal in next ten days.
The government also adopted a regulation on the Government
Information Office. After the regulation takes effect, the
regulation on the Government Public Relations Office will cease to
be valid.
The Information Office will coordinate the activities of
public relations services, ministries and other bodies of state
administration, and issue press passes for journalists following
Government activities.
