ZAGREB, Feb 18 (Hina) - Vladimir Primorac, a member of the HSLS
(Croatian Social and Liberal Party), has been chosen in a public
draw to represent the opposition parties in the Croatian national
election commission.
The draw was made on Tuesday after opposition parties had
failed to agree until 17.00 hrs today on a joint representative who
may take part in the national election commission according to the
election law.
The commission includes one representative of a majority party
in the Croatian Parliament House of Counties and a representative
of all opposition parties in the Upper House.
On behalf of the majority party, the HDZ (Croatian Democratic
Union), Mario Jelusic will take part in the work of the commission.
The elections for the Upper House as well as local elections
will be held on April 13.
