SARAJEVO, 3 Jan (Hina) - The House of Representatives of the
Assembly of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday held the first full
session since the elections in September 1996. #L#
All 42 representatives - 28 from the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina and 14 from Republika Srpska - gathered in the National
Museum building in Sarajevo under extremely strict security
measures, which also included members of the Stabilisation Force
(SFOR).
The session of the House of Representatives is attended by the
Bosnian Presidency members Alija Izetbegovic, Kresimir Zubak and
Momcilo Krajisnik as well as by Michael Steiner, deputy to the
international peace coordinator in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The agenda includes a proposal on the confirmation of the
representatives' mandates, the appointment of the chairman and his
deputies and the confirmation of the co-chairmen's appointments as
well as those of the Council of Ministers' members.
