Croatian literature and youngpeople with the Croatian language.
WASHINGTON/MISSISSAUGA, June 30 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian
Heritage Foundation, Nikola Jelincic, on Wednesday opened the Croat-Canadian
library in Mississauga, Ontario, where Canadian Croats will be able to get
acquainted with the Croatian literature and young people with the Croatian
language. Jelincic is on a visit to Canadian Croats. Before
Mississauga he visited Croats in New York.
The library is spread on 70 square metres and has about 11,000 Croatian
books, donated by Canadian Croats. The library was financed by some 140
Canadian Croats who donated about 600,000 Canadian dollars. The construction
works was done by Croatian workers free of charge.
