ZADAR, June 13 (Hina) - US Ambassador Ralph Frank on Monday visited the central coastal city of Zadar to attend the inauguration of the American Corner at the City Library.

The American Corner was opened thanks to a US Embassy donation worth 50,000 dollars consisting of books, magazines and DVDs about the United States. The embassy also donated a DVD player, a VCR and computers.

The Zadar City Library and the US Embassy began cooperating in the early 1990s.

The ambassador said the library met world standards. He was thanked for the donation by local officials.
