ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will travel tothe Bulgarian city of Varna to attend a two-day regional forum onculture corridors in south-eastern Europe and the joint past andheritage of countries in the
region, which will start on Friday.
ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will
travel to the Bulgarian city of Varna to attend a two-day regional forum on
culture corridors in south-eastern Europe and the joint past and heritage of
countries in the region, which will start on Friday. The summit,
organised at the initiative of Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, will pool
the heads of state of Albania, Greece, Macedonia, Turkey and the chairman of
Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-man presidency.
The Varna event is organised under the sponsorship of UNESCO Director
General Koichiro Matsuura and the Council of Europe Secretary-General Terry
Davis.
