The programme was signed on the basis of an agreement the Croatian and Israeli governments signed in Jerusalem in October 2001. The Croatian Culture Ministry coordinated the drafting of the programme.
After the signing, Biskupic voiced satisfaction with Croatian-Israeli cultural cooperation, adding the programme would intensify it.
The minister said, among other things, that Israeli experts would help with the permanent museum display at the memorial area of Jasenovac, the site of a Croatian WWII death camp.
Ambassador Rubinstein, who is based in Vienna, said she too was satisfied with bilateral cooperation in culture, science and education.
She recalled the programme was signed around the 57th anniversary of Israel's independence, and announced the opening of the Israeli embassy in Zagreb soon.
