ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - A group of 33 Croatian politicians, includingformer prime ministers, government members and parliamentary deputies,Croatian Armed Forces chiefs of staff, Croatian Army generals,prominent people in science and
culture on Tuesday signed "A ProtestNote and an Appeal to the European Parliament and the UN SecurityCouncil" protesting against "non-Europan and patronising behaviour ofthe ICTY Prosecution and the European Commission towards Croatia".
ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - A group of 33 Croatian politicians,
including former prime ministers, government members and parliamentary
deputies, Croatian Armed Forces chiefs of staff, Croatian Army generals,
prominent people in science and culture on Tuesday signed "A Protest Note and
an Appeal to the European Parliament and the UN Security Council" protesting
against "non-Europan and patronising behaviour of the ICTY Prosecution and the
European Commission towards Croatia". Former parliament deputy
speaker Zdravko Tomac and president of the Croatian True Revival Party Miroslav
Tudjman forwarded the text and the names of the signatories to the Croatian
media.
Signatories to the protest note and the appeal ask the European
Parliament and the UN Security Council to protect the Croatian people from the
imposition of untruths aimed at turning the Homeland War into a criminal
enterprise.
