ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - The European Commission Delegation to
Croatia and the Croatian Chamber of the Economy (HGK) have signed an agreement
approving EUR250,000 from the CARDS programme for the work of the HGK Euro Info
Correspondence Centre, the HGK said in a press release on Monday.
The funds will be spent over the next two years on organising business seminars
and workshops on European Union-related topics and on publishing magazines and
publications.
The Euro Info Correspondence Centre was opened in January 2003, whereby
Croatia joined a network of similar centres in 45 European countries whose
task is to inform companies about EU-related issues. The network was founded by
the European Commission and the European Council in 1987.
