Croatia's legislation governing agriculture and rural development, one of the
most difficult negotiating chapters on the country's path to European Union
membership, began in Brussels in Monday. Over the next four days
about a hundred Croatian experts and negotiators will present the situation in
the Croatian agriculture sector to the European Commission.
The first, explanatory stage of the screening process took place from 5
