Josipovic was tried in absentia by the Zagreb County Court.
According to the court's ruling, he is banned for performing judicial duties for five years and is ordered to pay fines in the amount equivalent to the bribes he took: EUR 250 and 100 German marks which he had received to expedite proceedings.
The corrupt judge's whereabouts are not known. However, he is believed to be staying in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In mid-2008 he informed the Zagreb court that he would be in Banja Luka and a summons was sent via diplomatic channels to him but he failed to appear at hearings.
After that, a warrant for his arrest was issued but the media speculate that he cannot be arrested as he holds Bosnian citizenship, too.
