The association, whose acronym is HGZ, said in a statement on Thursday that it was flabbergasted by the fact that the entire Croatian leadership was disturbed by the concert which the association says was humanitarian.
"The concert was an expression of moral rather than material support to long-suffering Croatian warriors detained in prisons throughout Europe," the association said in the statement.
It described criticism of the appearance of the Navy's harmony-singing group at the concert as an act of "political desperation".
