Since higher costs have proved difficult to recover in yarn selling rates, spinners have been looking for price concessions from traders in raw cotton, they added. When these have been forthcoming, a modest business has proved practicable. West African styles have attracted most attention, while central Asian descriptions have also found occasional buying support.
