Some mills, particularly in Italy, continued to search for upland high grades, particularly against outstanding nearby requirements, although the availability of offers for this period was generally somewhat limited. Other customary buyers tended to consider their foreseeable requirements from next April onwards, but disagreement over prices again restricted the volume of new business. In general, buyers and sellers were awaiting Thursday's latest official crop figures from the USDA, which are expected to show quite a large volume of business. 201145 MET nov 97
