SARAJEVO, Dec 3 (Hina) - UNPROFOR spokesman Van Biesenbroeck told
reporters in Sarajevo on Friday that yesterday UNPROFOR personnel
escorted 24 aid convoys bringing 1,321 tonnes of food to the people
of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and that 14 aircraft with food supplies
touched down at Sarajevo Airport, said Bosnian Radio.
UNHCR spokesman Ray Wilkinson said that an eleven-truck convoy
brought food to Gorazde yesterday, and that a ten-truck convoy
dispatched from Metkovic was expected to reach Sarajevo today.
He said that a relief convoy that should have set out for Tesanj
yesterday was cancelled because of Bosnian Serb petty bureaucracy.
