GENEVA, Nov 17 (Hina) - Officials of the UN High Commission for Refugees
are expecting to get strong guarantees from all warring fractions in Bosnia
for safety of humanitarian convoys. UNHCR spokesmen Ron Redmond said in a
telephone interview with HINA on Wednesday that it was still too early for
final judgment about possible results of the meeting between Ms Sadako
Ogata and Croatian, Serbian and Muslim representatives, due to take place
tomorrow in Geneva.
Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic decided not to travel in Geneva and
the Muslim delegation will be led by Prime Minister Haris Silajdzic. The
leaders of Bosnian Croats and Serbs, Mate Boban and Radovan Karadzic
respectively, are going to attend the meeting.
