SARAJEVO Nov 27 (Hina) - President of the Presidency of Bosnia-
Herzegovina Alija Izetbegovic held a meeting with UNPROFOR Chief
Commander in B-H and special envoy of Mr. Thorwald Stoltenberg, French
General Francis Briquemont, in Sarajevo on Friday, reported the Sarajevo
radio.
Their talks revolved around the issue of the current military situation
in B-H, problems of the exchange of prisoners-of-war, possibilities for
delivery of relief aid, establishing safe corridors, opening the Tuzla
airport (northeastern Bosnia) as well as around the issue of evacuation
of wounded and sick.
General Briquemont informed Mr. Izetbegovic of his talks he had held in
the European Union, where one of the most important issues to discuss
had been the forthcoming negotiations in Geneva. According to the
Sarajevo radio, General Briquemont confirmed that at the forthcoming
Geneva talks special emphasis would be attached to the problem of
delivery of humanitarian aid to B-H.
