ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Croatia's rebel Serbs at Topusko, UNPA
Sector North, detained two foreign photo-journalists, one Frenchman
and the other American, a spokesman for UN Protection Force in
Zagreb, Paul Risley, said this evening.
The two photo-journalists were seen at Topusko last time on
Monday night when they were taken in an unknown direction by the
"Serb militia' members. The journalists had possessed the UNPROFOR
accreditation. Their whereabouts were unknown at the moment.
UNPROFOR today started an investigation at a highest level to find
out where the journalists could be, Risley said.
He declined to give their names and the agencies for which
they worked because of their personal safety.
Croatia's rebel Serb on Sunday detained three Italian
reporters in UNPA Sector North holding them captive for 20 hours.
The Serbs freed the Italians after they had taken from them their
car, money and documents.
