SISAK, Dec 5 (Hina) - The Bihac-bound humanitarian convoy that
departed from Zagreb on Saturday, is still at Moscenica, a village
in the unoccupied part of Croatia, between Sisak and the occupied
town of Petrinja.
The convoy with a dozen vehicles carrying 60 tonnes of medical
supplies and children's food was still waiting for "the UN
Protection Force escort and the clearance of local Serb authorities
for a free passage through the areas they hold", Juran Bokunic, a
deputy head of this non-governmental humanitarian action, said to
journalists this afternoon.
The action's organizers are planning to dispatch a part of the
relief supplies to hospitals in Petrinja and Glina (UNPA Sector
North) and to the Bosnian town of Cazin.
