PRESIDENT TUDJMAN MEETS JUPPE AND HURD

BUDAPEST, Dec 5, (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman in Budapest at the 9th CSCE summit, has had a joint meeting with British and French foreign ministers Douglas Hurd and Alain Juppe. At the end the meeting Juppe told journalists he was anxious to meet Tudjman. During the meeting they stressed the seriousness of the Bosnian situation and how it was necessary to do everything possible to establish a cease-fire in the next few days, Juppe said. If this was not done, the war which could break out heavily would be difficult to stop. Juppe added that he supported continued contacts at the highest levels based on Contact Group decisions.
