ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - "Vukovar Mothers" representative Katica
Majic this afternoon addresed the House of Representatives.
She said 1,228 citizens of Vukovar, nearly half of the
nation's missing persons quota, were either prisoners in
Serb jails or unaccounted for.
She expressed disappointment at the "hypocrisy and
indifference" of international institutions where the prisoners'
family members had taken their problem.
She said Friday's economic agreement with Knin Serbs
contained no provision dealing with the problem of missing persons
and prisoners.
Speaker Nedjeljko Mihanovic then read a letter that the
Opposition leaders sent him this morning.
The letter demanded that the economic agreement with Knin
Serbs and the situation in the occupied areas be "urgently"
addressed in Parliament.
He said he did not agree with the views expressed in the
letter but would put it on the agenda as soon as the Government
concocted a report on the issues mentioned in it.
